Prospect22 brings what is important all together. The league will be led by Matt Morse — over 30 years full time in soccer — “We’re changing the game. Our CSL model will give players aged 22 years and younger a full platform with combines, showcases, and league play to prepare you in this important phase of your development.”

P22 is presented side-by-side with SPI Training, world-class performance coaching providing the most effective and proven training methods—covering physical, technical, tactical, mental, and lifestyle aspects—to help players reach the highest levels of the game. We’ve proudly worked with 2 Champions League winners, 3 Premier League champions, AFCON champions, and League and FA Cup winners.

SHOWCASE Events

Show off your talents in exhibition matches, build your highlight reel, and develop your portfolio. All matches are filmed and analyzed. Full player stats are tracked and recorded. SPI will review all matches and distribute throughout its Scouting Agency.

What is Performance Coaching?

Performance coaching is a holistic approach to training, touching on all pillars of performance ensuring that players are primed for peak performance on and off the field. We utilize individual game match reviews, strength and conditioning, technical pitch work, game recovery and preparation, as well as lifestyle optimization for our pro clients.

Our goal in P22 is to raise the match performance standards by nurturing all players and educating coaches to be able to prioritize and focus on player development. We are ready to spot high-potential players to nurture through the league system and provide our best to the chosen players through training and match reviews. Ultimately, we want to see players not only break through to the professional level, but establish successful careers by reaching their maximum potential! And this is the perfect setting to do so.

Meet the team

  • Matt Morse

    LEAGUE DIRECTOR & COACHING EDUCATION

    Matt Morse brings over 25 years of full time soccer in all areas of the game, with specific expertise as a league operator. He is a USSF A licensed coach and educator, with a masters degree in Anthropology & Intercultural Studies. He has successfully developed players, teams, clubs, leagues, and coaches, sending many on to college and professional careers. Matt now leads the Southwest Premier League and NISA Nation. His management and coaching roles included the USL2 SoCal Seahorses, AC Brea DOC and Assistant Coach at Vanguard University. A former standout at Biola University, Morse’s experience and leadership make him a key figure in soccer.

  • Nicky Holender

    PERFORMANCE & ANALYSIS DIRECTOR

    Nicky is the Founder & Master Coach of SPI Training, dedicated to helping footballers from around the world reach the peak of their abilities. Nicky has worked with some of the greatest players of this generation, including Champions League, World Cup, and Premier League winners. His track record of success is extensive, guiding athletes on their journey to achieving their dreams. With a career spanning 15 years, Nicky's coaching expertise extends beyond the pitch, delving into comprehensive match reviews that meticulously dissect players' decision-making, technical finesse, and tactical prowess.

  • David Park

    COMBINE DIRECTOR

    David is the Executive Director & Head Performance Coach of SPI Training, spearheading SPI Scouting Agency with very successful Winter Showcase in 2023 which strategically brought 12 professional clubs globally and had 6 players sign directly from the event. For past 11 years, he has joined numerous players’ journeys as performance coach including top pros such as Daniel Sturridge and Jack Harrison. With special heart for aspiring players and especially the FFLLs (First-timers, First-generation, Late-bloomers, Late-starters), he has helped more than 32 players make the impossible happen to break through to the professional level. UEFA B licensed and advisor for pro football groups, agencies, and clubs, David is excited to help many through P22.

    SHOWCASE DIRECTOR

    ⁠Jeremy Kientz serves as the Showcase Coordinator, leveraging his extensive background in storytelling, commercial production, and broadcast media to lead the creation of game footage and highlight videos that showcase teams and players. With a keen eye for capturing pivotal moments on the field, Jeremy's work focuses on documenting players' highlights and providing essential visibility for athletes looking to advance their careers. His dedication to quality production ensures that players receive professional-grade highlight reels that effectively demonstrate their skills and potential to scouts, colleges, and professional organizations.
